Hi, I’m Michaela Gleed.
I fell in love with movement when I was 15. It transformed my mind, body, and has brought me a deep love of sharing it. Tens of thousands of hours in practice, 6 years of teaching, thousands of students and clients, and it is all because joy in movement is the most important habit I have integrated into my life.
Habitual combines the best of what I have found in yoga, pilates, and traditional strength training modalities. As a semi-professional soccer player in my youth, I have put to test the importance of mobility, proper alignment in movement, and mindfulness techniques to optimize performance. In my teaching I combine the mindfulness and breath work of yoga, with the technique and control of pilates, and infuse it with the strength and discipline of high intensity interval training.
